Yes, that's right. Starting from today, December 1st, Leatherbound and Buckled will be holding two contests:
The "Spread Seph/Leon Like You Are Spreading Your Flu" contest, and the "Halloween on Christmas" contest. Feel free to enter and read about whichever contest interests you most. You may even enter both, if you like, provided you read the rules. Also, check out our prizes!

->Spread Seph/Leon Like You Are Spreading Your Flu

FACT: Since this is a fairly new club, it does not have many members.

FACT: Seph/Leon is often the ignored side of the Seph/Leon/Cloud love triangle.

But there is hope, because:

FACT: Fandom, like the flu, is contagious.

This is a contest to infect more new members than any other of your fellow members have before 12:01am on December 25th.

RULES

1. For every person that watches Leatherbound and Buckled and leaves a comment with your username in it, you will recieve 1 point.

2. For every person that joins Leatherbound and Buckled and leaves a comment with your username in it, you will recieve 5 points.

3. For every time you link to this club from a blog/journal/public space with these rules, screenshot it, upload the image, and post a link to the image as a comment here (see 'Notes' on how to do this), you will recieve a whopping 10 points.

4. The person with the most points by December 25th will win grand prize, the person with the second most points will win second prize, and the person with the third most points will win third. If there are any ties, all people involved in the tie will be declared winners and recieve the same respective prizes as if they had won alone.

->Halloween on Christmas

Because the club president was busy preparing for National Novel Writing Month (winner!), there was no Halloween contest. However, Halloween and Christmas are both beloved holidays and neither one deserves to be overlooked. In fact, they are a whole lot funner merged together!

This is a contest in which artwork and literary fiction will be submitted with the theme of Sephiroth and/or Leon having Halloween on Christmas.

RULES

1. Follow the club rules, obviously.

2. You may submit your work to other clubs as well, but your contest entry MUST have Leatherbound and Buckled as its primary submission.

3. You MUST state that your work is an entry for our contest somewhere in your comments, not necessarily in the name of your submission.

4. Cut-Off Date and Voting:

-The "Halloween on Christmas" contest will end on 12:01am, December 22nd.

-A poll will be set up and voting will begin on December 22rd.

5. 4. The person with the most votes by December 24th will win grand prize, the person with the second most points will win second prize, and the person with the third most points will win third. i started playing FF VIII for the fourth time yesterday (on the old playstation mind you), and i was happy. the first time i played through it, i got all the way to the fourth disk as a level 28 Squall, and everyone else was level 12, and i just couldn't get past Adel. *pout* so i started the game over several times, but it just never worked for one reason or another, and now, i've done it again. *happy sigh*

i'm almost finished with KH, but my brother's dog messed up the Playstation 2, so he had to fix it, thus i played FF VIII, and i don't regret the hours i spent drawing 100 of each magic from those measly monsters, MWA HA HA HA!!! *cough* er, anyway, i need to finish KH....sometime....

^^ so i am getting back to writing, and that NaNoWriMo thing really set my plot bunnies loose. so now you guys know why my stories are all crazy. XD

but i would seriously like some support on this, cause it's going to be freakin' hard for me. if you join it, let me know, and i'll add you to my writing buddy list, cause no one's gonna be able to do this alone. so, this will be interesting, and hopefully, it will help me improve my writing, and my ability to reach deadlines. all that leads to more stories for you guys, so be encouraging!

i do RPing on some forums, and a HUGE ASS argument blew up. i just found out about it today, an i was like.....OoO!!!!

one of the writers got kicked off, then put back on one of the sl's....it was sad. she's really hurt and i don't really know what to do because i wasn't there for the whole mess. man, i understand how she feels because i got screwed over by them too and i'm still bitter...but they did apologize and try to make our thing right. i love them all, but it still hurts to see them all fight.

man.....oh, on the good side, i've almost got WWL the next chapter out. i have it all planned, and am writing it

i'm back *sigh*. i did try to stay away, but alas i can not. AND HOLY CRAP I JUST DISCOVERED WHAT THE MEMORIES THING IS!!! i am so freakin' dense sometimes, it's not even funny. how the hell did i end up a straight A student? i'll never understand.....

wow, i haven't been here in a while. i got an account on y gallery and i've been RPing with a ton of people, so i've had my hands full. that and the fact that i've been going through some stuff in life and i even tried to cut myself to end the pain. i'm not over my depression yet, but i really hope to be.

all righty, i've decided that before posting the next MHEA chapter, i'm going to post the first chapter to a new series i'm calling We Were Lovers. when i came up with the title, i was thinking of the opening theme to Gankutsuo (anime version of The Count of Monte Cristo). i really like that song, and decided that i would use it as the theme to this little fic. We Were Lovers will be a RudexReno story, but that's all i'll say for now!

yeah baby! i posted my newest chapter in MHEA, i'm in the process of writing CH 5, AND i got 1/3 of all the stories i need to catch up reading done! whooo hooo!
